Welcome to Figtrees or Les Figuiers, our beautiful 200 year old farmhouse in South West France.
A unique private farmhouse that embodies an intimate and secluded piece of French country living.
Nestled against the banks of the Dordogne, surrounded by verdant gardens and romantic vineyards, the resort is perfect for those in search of quietude.
Experience Fig Trees and all it has to offer, from the pool and gardens to well decorated rooms, with their comfortable fittings and luxury bathrooms.

Accommodation
Sophisticated and elegant, yet welcoming and comfortable, the historical farm house features delicate reception rooms and spacious apartments furnished for comfort. Rooms, suites and guesthouses are arranged within the farmhouse to offer discreet, bespoke accommodation.
We have two gites, each with 2-bedrooms, and 2-bathrooms along with a sofa bed. Each room has a king sized bed, ensuring a great night’s sleep at the end of the day. In addition, we offer further smaller beds for children, allowing you to accommodate family and friends.

Private Gardens
Overlooking the vineyards is a large swimming pool and extensive gardens.
We have a number of outdoor games and a couple of swings to keep the little ones happy.
Nestling under two fig trees is a summerhouse at the end of the garden. Set against the backdrop of yet more vineyards this is the perfect place to watch the sunsets and enjoy an alfresco dinner.

We are in a small village with a local épicerie for basic supplies, but only 10 minutes away is Sainte Foy La Grande, a 10th century bastide (fortified) town on the banks of the Dordogne river.
There are so many activities to do in our region, from canoeing down the Dordogne to jousting evenings to viewing an abundance of medieval towns and markets.
There are big cities like Bordeaux, the beautiful Atlantic coast and many lakes with fishing activities. Finally, don’t forget the sports, like tennis and our wonderful golf course at Vigiers, only 10 minutes away.

We can offer cooking classes with carefully selected produce from the market, and a friend of ours will offer art classes and lessons to all you budding Da Vinci’s. We have another friend with a Chateau, who can offer some wonderful wine tasting- you will be amazed at the cost of wine in this area!
