Our 200 year old farmhouse in South West France is surrounded by vineyards and stunning countryside. All of our guests so far continually comment on how peaceful it is here.
The farmhouse is being lovingly restored to its original glory, with decor and furnishings that pay homage to the property’s 19th century heritage.
Tradition meets a chic edge, with elegant chandeliers, grand doorways, patterned wall papers and plush furnishings; in our tranquil farmhouse. The picturesque grounds also host a rustic barn, swimming pool, and wild meadows.
Out back, surrounded by vineyards and farmland is a large swimming pool and extensive gardens.

Our French dream
Cheryl and I fell in love with France back in 1988 on our first visit, but it took us 34 years, 3 children, multiple foster children and finally 5 grandchildren to realise that if we didn’t make the move now, then we probably never would!
We are living proof that it’s never too late to follow your dreams, take the plunge, the change of career and create the life you aways imagined you’d live.

We are in a small village with a local épicerie for basic supplies, but only 10 minutes away is Sainte Foy La Grande, a bastide (fortified) town on the banks of the Dordogne river. Here you can find a range of shops including a large supermarket and best of all an award winning market on Saturdays that will tickle your taste buds and have you hurrying home with local produce to prepare and eat!
Surrounded by vineyards we can assure you of a peaceful stay, with a small epcerie in the village for basic supplies.
There are plenty of activities available locally. The Dordogne river is just a few moments in the car from the house. e.g. tennis golfing.

The area has, of course, a great range of restaurants. Dine on the banks of the Dordogne at Au fil de l’eau for a very special evening.
Golfing is available at the beautiful 27-hole course of Château des Vigiers is only 9 minutes drive away, and is stunning.
